Hey Guys,
Im fairly new to this site, but gday to all.
Just wondering along the beaches from like scarborough to mindarie where a good quiet jetty is n the ocean to take the little tackers down to so thy can drop a line. I took them to the hilaries boat harbour rocks on the north side on sunday, (where I got a great feed of tailor) with small sinkers they kept getting snagged every 2 seconds, and with small berley floats they both got there reels tangled! It was at this time I thought we better call it a night haha.Even better if its a good jetty to through a mullie to :P
Thankyou all

Further down to the ammo jetty at the john graeme reserve near woodmans pt is gd, always plenty of bait fish all day ( stock the freeza up), bait chasers and burley is all u need, kids love to feed the pelicans with them and always throw a livey out. Dont go at night tho, cars aint safe. How big were the tailor u got?
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

ammo jetty
Is it open to public access? I thought it was closed for repairs a while back after the storms.

Excluding the marinas (Ie
Excluding the marinas (Ie Hillarys, Ocean Reef and Mindarie) i actually dont think there are any jetties from fremantle - mindarie. It's all just rock walls/ groynes. The jetty at hillarys marina in front of aqwa is probably your only hope, as fishing isn't allowed at all the other ones as far as im aware. Not a lot to catch there, but you might get some small tarwhine/skipjacks or something like that.
Also ammo jetty is currently open.

There is a small jetty on
There is a small jetty on north beach (disabled jetty), north of trigg beach. Its a bit elivated above the water but you can get sand whiting during the day, and herring at night with a bit of berley. Its small so get there early, quite safe good for bread and butter species. Hope that helps!

North Beach .
Dont want there to be that much of a sea breeze as you cast into it.
Wind from the north is good
