Good steemer

 Thought I'd post this for those who like to steam there Crays and crabs or anything else for that matter I got it years ago in Broome from wings store for steaming mud crabs but been using it for Crays since moving down here I can fit 5 good size Crays on each level so 10 Crays at a time haven't tried blue mannas yet but would get your twenty easy , it's a crocodile brand for thoes that like it im sure eBay or maby a local Asian shop would sell them bloody good thing .

 I've been using one of those for ages.  Picked up from an Asian grocery shop. 

Also seen one converted into a smoker with a hole drilled into the top and a thermometer inserted.

 Cray I do for 14 mins bigger models 18 mins good thing about steaming is its hard to steam them to death if you go a minute or to over not like boiling them .

 Thats a lot longer than i have been steaming them for.  8 minutes for a legal size cray.  9 mins + for larger models.

steamed his crays and crabs in the steamer, they are brilliant.  Good for when you have a party for steaming dim sums also.  Not a fan of crab but when he steamed the crabs always loved eating just one, they tasted sweeter than boiled.

 Doing them for 8-9 mins after reading on here that's what people were doing but found the meat that comes out the head top of tail was under done and translucent since going longer they have been perfect I even sent some cooked ones up north an reports wher they were slightly under mayby the steamer ?
