GPS shit itself

Crew my beloved and ancient hand held Garmin has shit itself,

For the past few years i've known this day will come and am now kicking myself i didnt have a lot of my fav spots saved elsewhere, only on there.

Does anyone know a good GPS doctor that might be able to help me salvage my marks?

When i was up north it would get wet and then not allowed to dry properly and that happened enough times that it started to do some funky things, like there was two buttons pressed at same time or the cursor would move on its own...

Then had trouble turning it on and eventually now it wont....

Reminder to all

BACKUP YOUR UNITS
All electronic gear will eventually fail in a marine environment. I have witnessed way too many failures that are not recoverable and seen the devastation at the realisation of years of lost waypoints. Luckily i am at about a 50% recovery rate so some people walk away happy. Work out a way of backing up and religiously do it. Keep a reminder like April Fools day or something that will trigger your memory.
