It's a pretty poor post really PD. Nothing at all other than stirring the pot. Who do you go for anyway or are you an import with nothing else better to do? Yes, cararvonite, I agree but the only prize in AFL is a flag. Let's wait and see how the rest of the season pans out. From what I saw Saturday the Collingwood guys will be taking any match with the Eagles this year very seriously as they themselves know how lucky they were to come out on top considering it was played at home. The buildup to the finals will be interesting. Eagles have a good stock of quality players ready to return to the group before then.
Ricey, nice to see the Roos finally put in a big game. They have talent, they just haven't been teaming up that well.

Yeah the road warriors will be really bricking it when they have to travel west.
Pies have got an awesome travelling record, something like 15 wins from the last 16 trips. Travel holds no fears, particularly when we travel at low altitude in a chartered jet.

Isn't it great having a President who is also one of their biggest supporters.
Happy for my membership money to be used however they see fit, trips to Port Douglas, Arizona, low flying jets, altitude room. Every little bit helps sea-kem.

Seems they are all jealous Pilbara Dave. As an avid Bombers fan I enjoyed sitting amongst the Dockers members Saturday night and hearing the excuses - if we had Hill, if we had Sandilands, if we had Ballantyne - a bit like when we smashed the Eagles - if we had Kennedy, if we had Le Cras - will that be the excuse when you dont win the GF.
The bombers have beaten the dockers and the eagles so suck it up ladies.
Pilbara Dave is probably just a loyal supporter and didnt jump ship when the Eagles entered the comp - and he obviously knows when he is onto a good thing.

It was a good round of
It was a good round of footy, a tipsters nightmare. The Eagles game was a ripper, and could've gone either way. I think the Eagles should feel pretty comfortable about matching it with the Pies for the game. Though there was maybe a high contact on Shuey in the pocket in the last few crazy minutes but alas not to be. I thought maybe Cloak was the difference. He took his chances and stood up. Beau Waters and Kerr were great as well, as was Dane Beams.
How did we WA footy let Fasolo go as well, that kid is a jet! Has a hoof of a kick on him as well. He'll be an A Grade midfielder in a year or two.
Just a question and I'm not stiring, How does Collingwood get 2 or more games in a row at the G, when it is a home and away season. I assume that last week again West Coast was a home game for the Pies, what about this week against at Freo?

when you joined their comp,how can all the other 16 teams play interstate all the time??? as that revered wc player[karl langdon] says over and over again,good teams win anywhere,sick of fans banging on about their injuries,pies have 9 out, 5 premiership players, 2 players on the weekend have only played 4 games,kids but good enough to stop the egirls, essendon have heaps out as well

Die hard Bombers Fan!
Yes I barrack for the Bombers and I always have and will, I had a great weekend flying down from K-town to watch the game live, Only just starting to get my voice back now, In the last quarter you could have been forgiven for thinking it was a Bombers home game. Living in WA I am always outnumbered by Eagles and Dockers fans so it is nice to get a win over both of them this year. I just hope there is one more win on the eagles come finals time!
Just to add my two cents worth on the travelling factor, I truly think it is an advantage being a WA based team because if the WA teams are truly good enough then it is games in the bag because every other team is not use to the travel while WA teams travel every second week, at least half of those games away will be against bottom half teams so I think a par season for a WA playing well is 15 -16 wins and a top four spot. While Vic based teams play at home more they also play other teams who are also at home and therefore get less of an advantage.
But I guess this will always be the never ending argument/excuse, Got to love a good hearted footy argument/debate

I agree about excuses
To win a flag you need to be able to overcome injuries and travel. WCE have done this 3 times in a relatively short period of time. Dockers haven't even looked like it. Right now I am filled with anticipation as we have players on the mend and everything to play for now. It's just a matter of whether we can cut the mustard. The Bombers will be tested also and who really knows what Sydney will do?? They always seem to be there the bloody pests!
