The exception for me is other axe-weilding murderers, which, apparently hang out in Greenough. :-D

Milly, you can get ok bream and whiting in the river

But the best bet is to make your way around the rocks to the south of the river mouth. You will find some decent little platforms that are sheltered a bit from the wind. They are great spots for tailor in the morning.

I have never hooked a sambo there myself, but I can't see why they wouldn't come into the marina

turn of brand hwy onto flatrocks road

just before sbends servo about 10 km before greenough
there is a pea gravel track all the way to the beach
or if you turn right about 2 km down the track where it turns to bitumen follow that till u see a track of to the left wich is 2 wd accseible after about 3meters of slightly boggy sand over the first little hill and follow that track to the left and you will come to a little car park just walk down the dune to some really reefy spot keep walking just around the bend and you will see a very deep gutter right on the beach that is duncans
great popper fishing all along there
