No slot limit for cod and min

Wed, 2011-04-27 12:19

No slot limit for cod and min size is 300mm.

Snapper also have no slot limit now in Cockburn sound which means you can take two fish over 70cm rather than just the one.(min size 50 still applies)

A bit backward considering that the regs were put in place to protect the spawning snapper????

Never looked at that myself

Never looked at that myself as I have never been able to venture out that far. Sounds like we better get our acts together Dan with your new boat. I'll be in any deep water venture!

Will be at the shed tomorrow (Friday) mate sucking some coldies with Nowackie and Purce and ricking Pushers for our Warroora Trip.

the greay band are no longer

Thu, 2011-04-28 22:16

the greay band are no longer on the 1mtr rule as they are a very deep dwelling fish and they will never be able to be returned to their habitat. it took quite some time and many arguements for this to occur.

i knowof several people that had to return the big buggers before the change in rule, hard to see them float away.
