terrible news
pretty sad - those seas down there on the west coast between the capes can get pretty vicious and very quickly -gotta feel for the blokes family.

Very sad news
and a timely reminder to be very careful in rough seas. Especially when you not familiar with the area.
Always check the forecast and be mindful of rising swells. It was forecast to rise from 2m to 4.5m down here yesterday.

They were anchored up at he back of windmills, diving probably, wearing wetsuits and booties etc. when the anchor got stuck.
Whilst trying to retreive it a wave came through and because the rope was taught the boat went through the wave like a surfboard, and flipped.

The sea recue boys have brought another body back to the ramp
Heartbreaking for all involved.

It appears the guy died a hero. After the capsize he went back under the boat to get a lifejacket, gave it to his mate and went to get one for himself. Never came back up
