Guests, why NOT join up and have a chat

Just always wondering why there is always about 10 times as many guests on line as users. Come and join this fantastic and friendly fishing forum and have your say.
Cheers

I'd say plenty of guests are actually users
They just don't bother logging in unless they want to post something.

Profile
While you are signing up please fill in your profile. There is nothing worse than giving advice to someone and then through their writings you find they are situated in North Timbucktu and nothing said can be one bit revelant to the fishing in that country or let alone area

i do agree with what Andy and Steve said about just hiding instead of showing your face. you dont want your boss seeing you signed in when your supposed to be working

Hakim actually messaged me
Hakim actually messaged me and thanked me for taking time out to respond to him. It's amazing though when a bird signs up there are 50000 welcomes. I got one from Adam. But I have found there's a bit of a purple circle culture on this site. Not whinge just an observation. Thanks though to the Faulkners there's always a kind word.

possibly mate but also i
possibly mate but also i guess keep in mind a lot of us have known and fished together for a lot of years. I dont think it is intentional sometimes mate just natural i guess that people who are mates outside of the site will probably usually talk more thats what the faulkners are great for welcoming everyone, there should be more of it.

circle
A circle in every website mate, but its a good thing as it keeps the content flowing from a group of mates. You will find that more and more people fit into that circle the more they contribute which ultimately benefits the site and those who just want to sit on the sides and read and enjoy looking at those awesome trip reports.
As for the amount of guests, theres still heaps of people signing up each day - its all running very nicely at the moment in my opinion.

Thanks for explaining that Ads
I think the Purple circle does exist, but certainly not bad. It is as you say mates that know each other will naturally chat, especially if they are "fishing" buddies.
However I havent felt snobbed out, and thats why I posted this thread to try and get more people on to this great social and learning, as well as Bullsh*t site. All in fun.
Great site Adds.

Agreed
Top site. I have not fished yet with anyone here but I plan to. I have picked up so many things I want to try out it has totally changed the way I fish.
I am totally hooked on Poddys spearing reports, that man is part tiger shark I am sure of it.
Canarvonite needs to be a politician, his comments are well worth following.
The Faulkner Family are bloody legends, they make everyone welcome, regardless of where they are or what they do, kudos to that attitude.
Fishwrecked...as addictive as crack, but without the issues !

I am a new member, joined last week, have been telling my wife about some of the stories I read on this site and she said 'why don't you join', so I did.
Am not really an expert to comment on a lot of stuff, hope to learn a lot thou, actually I have already, was not sure if I should venture out to the barges for some jigging, have a 6.4m Fi-glass, but after reading some members go there in 5.4m boats I hope to see you out there.

Cheers Andy. Thought I'd go for a Sunday walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, same idea as tens of thousands of other New Yorkers it seems.

Welcome Wen and Stoltzy
And as Scottland said you will learn, and there is always ideas and information that anyone can help with. Also you dont have to be an expert to comment, it just gives a broad spectrum about what people like/do etc.
Great to have you on the site.
