Yep got spoiled in the very best way... I was allowed to go fishing on Valentine's day because the weather was better than today.
I am however the walking wounded today, as yesterday that second dhuie bit my thumb (lacerated) as I was releasing it. On the way home a side swell and wave hit together whilst doing about 20 knots and threw me sideways into the wing nut on the targa, which imbedded itself in my shoulder.
I managed to strain a ligament behind my knee just from crawling under the boat trailer fitting new brake cables on Saturday.
Then to top it off, while I was cooking Dhufish in breadcrumbs on the bbq for my folks last night, a huge dollop of hot oil splashed off and onto my bare foot. I now have a blister the size of a 50cent piece on the top of my foot. Oil burns are not too pleasant.
So yep...I'm getting older and bits and pieces of me are falling off. I need a zimmer frame right now!!!

I tell you what
Andy it doesn't get any better when you turn 60, old fart and I had so many complaints for the first year of our 60's, then smooth sailing, but yes absolutely enjoy your day and hope you get more bling for fishing hahahaho Happy birthday to you.
