I went out with saltwater charters on friday.Had a fun day spinning up 4 or 5southern Bluefin of 5-7kg.It was ok on the bottom stuff, one punter scored a 7kg dhu with blackass, a few reds and skippy making up the rest of the bag.Tried the bluefin sashimi style marinated in extra virgin olive oil, lemon/lime juice, ginger, garlic and shallots.Bloody beautiful!

Nice fish. How deep was that?

Hope to get out and find a few on the bite Tuesday. Last session they were just too skittish to bite.
