Heli Barra Fishing

I have never been barra fishing before and am super keen to do it.
Noticed that you can do heli fishing out of Kununurra at a price and that the best fishing seems to be the run off around march to May. What would the fishing be like now that it is cooler? I imagine I am better waiting off till summer/autumn again.
Any thoughts?

I did a flight out of Derby
I did a flight out of Derby and got some nice fish. Was cheaper than any other option from memory and Dave the pilot was a really good bloke.

yes wait until april or may
yes wait until april or may ..now the water will be too cold for great fishing. You migh still get some or you might not this ime of year
