Place your gang hooks along the length of the mulie. Line up the top hook (the one that will be closest to your rod tip) with the eye of the mulie. Then start threading the gang hooks onto the mulie, starting with the bottom hook. Push the point of the hook right through the mulie - put it in about the middle of the mulie's body. Then do the same with the nerxt hook, and then the next hook and so on, aiming to have the top hook pierced through the mulie's head. Your gangs should be laying flat and straight along the length the mulie. An old fisherman told me it is best to cut the tail off as he suggested the mulie would spin less when being retrieved while bait casting.
Hope this helps.

I went down to hillaries tonight and caught a nice Tailor and a few skippy off the north rock walls, i dont know if you have tried there yet but its worth a shot with unweighted mulies!

Was stoked with the Tailor it was my first one ever Laughing!

I can't answer your question properly but i usually hook it through the tail (bottom hook) the mid-section and then the head somewhere it is pretty tricky, i need some good advice too on doing it properly.

Cheers, Tommo
