High & Dry At Jacks Creek

Hey all, Got out to Jacks creek south of broome the other weekend.. Being pretty bad conditions for it with the massive tides(full moon) and the southerly breeze belting up the coast, only had a few trolls and a quick throw of some lures around the mouth.. Left the get away plan about half too late and ended up getting stranded for 4 1/2 hours at 5pm...  Needless to say the missus wasnt impressed not having warm clothing or anything... Was a nice sunset and moon rise thou.... The tide went out about 3km from the dunes.. Alot further than i thought it would go.... Couple of pics to follow Cheers Mark.

where did you launch to fish the creek? Can you tow the boat into Eco Beach and up along the sand or is there somewhere else?

Eco Beach dont let you

Sun, 2009-09-27 15:03

Eco Beach dont let you launch or even drive your car into their resort...All parking is about a km from beach in car park... Then you get drivin around on golf buggy's..

You can take your boat and they will launch it for you for a price with their patrol.. right in front of the resort and then itsabout 5-10km nth to the creek...

I beleive their is a back road into jacks which im pretty sure i found as we were going home but didnt go all the way down it...

And yes boys will be boys..... lol
