Hill River report

Went to Hill River on the weekend for my mates 30th birthday.

We were glad to see great conditions and set up for some fishing and drinking .

Over all there were not many fish caught , some Tailor and Herring with the usual 6 or more rays . Sorry there are not many fish pictures but my nephew got his first Tailor and a few more .

Connor's first Tailor.

Sunset

I did have a balloon out all weekend but no hit's. We caught a few unusual fish as well, Sand Bass , Spider Crab ( pic on another post ) and what looked like baby Threadfin salmon ( sory no pic ) I saw one posted on here not long ago and was exactly the same.

Cheers Grant .

Yeah Jamie was pretty quiet all round, a few tailor the first night then nothing but herring , was a great time tho, good friends, great weather ,lots of food and drinks.

Ps , Had a good chat to the rangers and found out a few interesting details about camping/fishing in the area .
