there are some decent fish
there are some decent fish at hillaries if you know were to fish ;). ive gotten/seen 40cm skippy, 40cm tailor, small sambos, pinkies of all sizes from 20cm-7kg, mulloway, etc etc. do a search on the site and it will bring up some good articles and threads. check out the first Fishwrecked Reeltime online magazine and read Colin Hay's Report on the marina. should be a good insight if your a little stumped. i love the marina personally as it meant that i could fish safely for so many years and support my fishing addiction. now that i have more freedom, i do tend to roam a bit more, which means i havnt properly fished the marina in a good 6 months. there are still decent fish to catch, you justr gotta put in the time and effort. hope this helps.
