i was fishing trhe inside south wall from 2.00 till 10 minits ago, was casting, retreving with the sp's for ages and nothing and kinda went in auto pilot and missed a huge bite, then 10 minits later when pulling my sp in i say a huge silver flaash chasing my sp but didnt bite it, i rekon it was a 1-1.5 kilo skipp

saturday morning fellas ... i went down tonight on the north wall caught 3 herring in about 10 minutes (all released) until the wind picked up and conditions were shocking so went home for dinner lol, they were really on the bite though .. im heading down tomorrow morning at about 6 if anyone wants to tag along on the disabled jetty!
Iv'e been eyeing the new boardwalk at hillaries, looks good ,plenty of bait fish swimming around .I think i'll need the weather to warm up a bit first.

nah my mum likes the taste of the yellowtail so i keep some of them for her and some for bait ..
skippy was about 29cm i think unclestu caught that one, in future il chuck under 30cm back they are still quite small so!

New structure
Whenever new structure (wharfs, groins etc) are built, I've always found them very productive. So that boardwalk sounds a goer.
