Hillarys night parking

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows whether the parking inspectors operate at night at Hillarys? I have a yearly pass for Ocean Reef, but not keen to park there for late night sessions.

Cheers,

Matt

i own a yearly launch pass and was told by the dot guy at hillarys when I paid for the pass that parking inspectors don't operate there past 4pm. Up to you if you want to take the risk or not !

Doesn't the sign at the entrance say what hours the parking restrictions apply.

parking is free at hillarys, what you pay for is launching your boat.

The ticket has an 'until' date/time (usually 11:59pm) of that day. If you don't have a valid ticket on display when they come around you can get booked. It is not a permit to launch for any other day than the one on the ticket.

should be okay after 5pm. I seriously doubt they would check  (boat trailiers) after 6pm even though the Department of transport say they do. (I have passes for both)

I sometimes feel uncomfortable late at night at Ocean reef when alone of with my GF. Sometime sHillarys isnt much better but potentially safer.
