History of Woodmen pt jetty

Just wondering if anyone out there knows any history on Woodman pt jetty. To me it looks purpose built for two specific ships of the same type, and then there is the TEE at the end. If it was built during the war were two corvets (anti submarine) moored there, or were there submarines berthed there or something else entirely?

History
The site accommodated people suffering from various diseases and was also used to quarantine thousands of troops returning from World War One.
By the end of 1957 there were five cottages for staff, who were required to live on site and were also "quarantined". The station was off limits to the public, with families living on site (apparently) having a great time.
The Commonwealth Government officially closed the station in 1979 and it was transferred to the Department of Administrative Services, with the Detention Centre being used by the Department of Immigration. Shortly after the camp was set up as a recreation camp for schools, families and local organisations and managed by the then, Community Recreation Council (now Department of Sport and Recreation).

Extensions were made to the Woodman Point Quarantine Station in 1901, including a tram line from the jetty via the fumigation house. in 1908 administration was transferred from the State to the Commonwealth. Buildings were updated and the station expanded during the First World War. It had been used for bubonic plague, smallpox, venereal disease, and 1918-19 saw victims of the Spanish flu being isolated at Woodman Point.
and.
In wartime the lighthouse never went out and it was fitted with radio communications for contact to the armed forces. From the lighthouse military operations of WW2 could be observed in relation to PT boats and submarines that fueled and took on military hardware at night time from the two wooden jetties that were constructed from the small groyne near the naval sheds. Yes this is true, and victoms of disease were buried in the area. However the jetty looks too modern to ne from that era (in my opinion). Did you know that henderson was earmarked to become a large Naval base? in the late 1800's

Those quaritine buildings are
Those quaritine buildings are haunted and its a little wonder why with 1000's dieing there apparently ,,you can book a haunted tour night there if you want,,
They have camp buildings around there and my sister was with a camp group (Activ) last year some time, she never knew it was haunted till i told her,,then she told me this strange story,,it was very hot so her and another lady jammed the door open in the room they were sleeping, my sister thought she either imagined or dreamed the other lady got up and shut the door during the early hours,,the other lady was shocked and dreamt or imagined my sister closed it ??? (the door was shut in the morning) Very strange experience and not your average happening,,i think its the round tower building that everyone sees most spirits,,
That makes sense about Henderson seeing the next suburb över is called "Naval Base"

Henderson Naval Base.
I found a book at the Manning libary about the Fremantle region. Apparently Admiral Cockburn selected the area as Britons new base. 12,000,000 pounds were allocated to the project, which was alot of money in those days. Wharves and submarine pens were to be built along the shore from where the CPBA club is up to where the first bit of land juts out , just before where the kite surfers go.
The plans show a mole to be constructed parallel to the shore probably about a 1/2K out and open at each end. The whole area to be dredged, The dredging started and so did some construction. Then they pulled the pin and moved to Singapore.

regarding teh "hauntings"
regarding teh "hauntings" around there. i don't believe in ghosts, but...
my old man was the manager at the rec camp for quite a few years. i had already moved out but my little sister lived with him and spent alot of time down there. she was petrified of the place and is convinced she has seen ghosts. i have to admit that some of these were me and my brother winding her up, but she reckons there is something weird going on around there.
and there were alot of comments about ghosts from people who stayed there.
there were lots of areas that felt a bit eerie even in daylight hours if you were by yourself.
