Home/Mobile Mechanic
Should have posted this in here rather than general fishing.
Interested in everyone's opinions on getting my 6hp tohatsu serviced for the 3 month service.
I am leaning toward getting a home/mobile mechanic to do it as although there is a greater deal of security using one of the bigger boat stores (you would hope) I know that my little motor is going to be given to the apprentice to work on and would rather have it looked/worked on by someone with experience. Some may scoff at why I am so concerned about my little 6hp but it's my pride and joy as part of my first little river setup for me and my 4y old plus it still cost me $1700.
Has anyone used a good home/mobile mechanic NOR that I can contact and let me know where they are or would others suggest sticking to the boat store?
Cheers
JF

Good stuff. Yeah, he looked after my dad's boat motor when it had starting issues. Half the price of other "quotes".
