hey russ welding in it sucks bigtime but you just do it ,same as every summer ,how do i manage i go fishin a lot to keep my sanity lol. look at my avatar thats what happens when i dont fish and its hot ha ha ha

Coping OK
Spend 10 hours a day in aircon (Office or car) when not onsite and then spend 2 hours a night brick paving or landscaping.... just love DLS this time of year to get things done in the "cool". Next job is to get spa hooked up electrically so when the next heat wave hits we will be going nuts also but only chasing bread and butter stuff.... need heavier rod and reel to hook one of those "strange" mako things with the coloured floaty type ring around it's belly shown in your previous post

On nightshift..so sleep all day in the aircon....come to work.....sit in the airconditioned control room..push a few buttons, like homer simpson. Havnt even notice its hot out there!

Love my reverse cycle a/c
much to the moaning and groaning of you know how. Bloody power bill, take a pill its staying on, too hot to go fishing, bloody wind is blowing, the dog and me are cool. Go shopping a/c 4x4 is turned on. Must go and do some shopping before it gets tooo hot.
Yes 7739ian I'm a a big sookie la la when it comes to the heat, the a/c on yet dear..grrr

Live in a mobile home and have both air conds turned on,though not too bad as we have only got up to 39 last week and 37 here yesterday with 34 forecast for today.Sit back with the paper,puzzles and cricket on tv

thats why we're not in Leeman in our van at the moment only have one a/c in the van & the annex is fixed but no bloody a/c even if we had two the power sucks up there and we'd be tripping the power pole. I'm home & a/c is on lovely job.

yeah its great in the back
yeah its great in the back of a fridge truck.
but then out of it, and then your back in it, and then your out of it, and then you are back in it.
then you jump back in the cab with an aircon that doesnt work.
at least it is good for keeping your drinks and crib cold.

Drove a cray truck bringing crays from Hamelin Bay back to the city,5 deckies wanted a lift back for the break over the moon.Two in the front and the others in the back!!14deg and no lights+2tonne of crays+2x cartons.At least I gave them a piss stop,do not know why they never asked for a lift again!!

they must have been hangin' high. Carnarvonite Bob used to take all the cray bait up to Geraldton for the Co-op., in the B double, Xmas time he'd come home with some cooked crays for Xmas lunch, love the taste of Geraldton crays, they seem to be sweeter and then he'd stop and get tomatoes & rockmelon as well miss it. But he's been retired three years now.
