How many rods can be used from a boat.

It states in Rec fishing guidelines only two rods may be used from shore at a time, but no mention is made about boats. If I run a four lure spread on my own will I get into trouble with fisheries?

I have always thought the 2 rods rule,  would be to give everyone at a location, jetty, beach gutter etc etc

a go , not anything to do with overfishing rules per say , so I guess that it dont matter on your own boat.

4 lure spread on your own , hitting weed ? good luck with that, remember the rules state you must be in

control of the boat at all times.

the statement in control of the boat at all times is a little bit grey if the station is to be controlled by man at all times it would outlaw every autopilot on the market
