saragosa parts cant find
hi guys as you all probably seen and heard i had all my fishing gear stolen back in January. So while i am here i will say a BIG THANKYOU to all the fishing fanatics and fishaholics that helped me out i have been given abit of gear and am not far off being able to go out fishing with family and friends and not have to scab gear lol.
Anyway i managed to pick up a Saragosa 8000 older model and it is missing the two silver cover plates on either side of the reel, would anyone have a set plus screw lying around(Hopefully) i have tried shimano and they cant help i have also tried ebay and the sorts but to no avail, the reel looks good i got tournament 50lb braid on it so would just like to spruce it up (plus remove the blutac that is stopping sand at the moment from getting into the gears).
Also have a 560 slammer and need the little screw cap thingy that goes opposite side of reel, would anyone have one of these at all on a reel that is maybe buggered.
Thanks in advance guys and any help would be appreciated, i know it is a long shot but some of you have been fishing alot longer then i have and some1 might just have a broken or buggered reel i could get parts off
GIVE ME A FISHING ROD.....WELL THE REST IS HISTORY

the best thing you could do
the best thing you could do is try track down the schematic of the reels assembly, it will have each individual part number on it and you should be able to order it through shimano that way ?

Yep strange Shimano wouldn't
Yep strange Shimano wouldn't have those parts? Just recently I purchased the same covers for my Stradic FH which must be about 8 years old! Looks like new with the replaced rear cover and bail spring covers. As zachpicc said, try finding the part#, and Shimano maybe more helpful.

shimano/dunphy sports do not
shimano/dunphy sports do not sell this part, they claim they never have, don't see why they would not sell. They claim it only comes with the body of the reel. so it is a case if you want them you need to buy the body, kinda sounds stupid to me.
to fish or not to fish...as if there was an option.
