Hey guys, all these fish were caught in the Nanga Brooke off the Murray River in the Dwellingup area. Not sure if juvenile trout/redfin perch, wondering if anyone could help me out

1st one a definite trout, the
1st one a definite trout, the last two I would hazard a guess at Galaxia maybe, how were they caught?
to fish or not to fish...as if there was an option.

i was just casting a little
i was just casting a little red spinner through the shallow streams, the first and second fish both hit the lure but the last fish was jagged accidently

good work, well I guess the
good work, well I guess the upside and positive is that it looks like a natural born trout, not a stocked one. Good news for the Dwellingup area, might get the mum and dad next time you're spinning up that way.

Rainbow Trout & Western Minnow
tombstone is correct, the first is a trout, and a Rainbow Trout to be precise - introduced, feral.
The other two are Western Minnows Galaxias occidentalis - native.

i only went down there for
i only went down there for the weekend camping and just chucked a lure in to occupy some time, now im keen to get back and actually have a crack at some of the better fish there
