Hi KingfishThe wind is full
Hi Kingfish
The wind is full on in your face, including bits of icey Antartica.
Never any fish except some lost blowies.
Camping is crap but the dugites and redbacks are relaxed and welcoming. At night the blood curdling call of the Nannup Tiger will have the hairs on the back of your neck dancing.
The yocals with thier toothless smiles keep trying to sprinkle cajun seasoning over you and inviting you to lunch.
Enjoy your trip but you might feel safer North of Mandurah.

Lived in Nannup once upon a
Lived in Nannup once upon a time and fished black point a lot. A lot more accessible to general public than was pre 2000s but still definitely worth a look.
As mentioned good tailor, never cracked anything much bigger than tailer there but when they were on they were on!!
As said let tyres down or better still have another 4 wheel drive with ya.
When she blows she blows so if camping spend the time to find a spot with at least some respite or Spend time to set up ya camp to cut wind down.
Without stating the obvious and sounding like a dick head...don’t go rock hopping down that part of the world when the swell even looks slightly up...many have never come home.
ripper part of the world - love it
Black point my choice over both lake jasper and Yeagers for me

Nice one. Youve got a good chance of getting a spot at entry to Jasper beach.Im not going any where near the south coast at easter time.(to many perthies lol). Probably fish dalyellup beach instead.Call in and make yourself known, I will be working at Whiteys Tackle & Camping on Tuesday. Just off the Forrest Highway at Treendale. Always happy to meet and share advice with fellow fishwreckers.

Dont forget the Bushmans. The Marchies are that big you can hear them changing gear as they come in to land.

Yeah the trip was great
Yeah the trip was great didn't catch as much fish as i would of like to maybe next time. What a great part of WA. Yeah done the tyre on the second day so that slowed things down abit.
