metro fishing

Hi all,
I've been in Perth for 10 years and have only just brought the tinny down to fish around. spent a few trips out wide from Rocko about the 10mile mark but have done no good, seems like chasing dhu's down here is a lot harder than back home in Dongara.
Reaching out to fellow fishos for any advice when it comes to metro demersal action including snapper in the Sound and KG's
Cheers

Southwest bank...
...from memory, 12-20nm out from Rocko, clearly displayed on standard DOT marine chart. Go to general area, sound around for fish/structure.

Good fish in close at the
Good fish in close at the moment, caught a 90cm pink in 6m the other day inside the sound. I would start off in close, around the islands and ffb and anchor and burley. Pinkies should really start kicking off in those areas once we get a few more big blows. Chance of a dhu on the ffb doing the same thing, plus plenty of skippy and a few sambos

Yep I'd take beau's advice
Yep I'd take beau's advice and start in close and go often. It's taken me about 4 years to finally feel more confident coming home with a good feed. Good weather and some long drifts along the ffb to find areas that hold good fish. Dawn and dusk anchor and berley
