Jurien/Kalbarri trip

Heading up to Kalbarri soon and will be stopping off at Jurien for a weekend.
Anyone got any tips for fishing Jurien offshore as i haven't fished it before. Direction, distance and depth info, don't expect exact locations.
Also what's being caught at Kalbarri at the moment?

with Jurien make sure you
with Jurien make sure you know where the chanels are. south passage can be tricky and dangerous on high swells. lots of ground out there both north and south. havnt fished there for several years . make sure you have lures as RyanC picked up some hooter yft last weekend .

Appreciate the info Faulkners. I have had a look at the charts and I'll definately be sticking to the main channel by the look of the terrain. I may only get 1 maybe 1 and a half days to fish so do you need to go far or does the fishy stuff start pretty much as soon as you find some ground?

been a few years since
been a few years since fishing there. its just a matter of looking around , didnt have to go far to find ground tho. worth putting a lure out back while searching too
