G'day guys
Just a heads up for those heading up here for the long weekend/fishing comp. It looks almost certain that the river will be closed by the weekend due to flooding. Not sure what the organisers have in place but with the river closed there will be no access unless you launch at Lucky Bay or Port Gregory.

Cheers Mick not looking good for the Murchinson, I spoke to Laurie this morning and the commitee are having a meeting tonight to sort out a plan B, at this stage the comp is still all go but they are thinking that everyone will have to launch at Gregory or Lucky Bay if you have a boat smaller than 4.5m.
They are organising Tractors for the beach launching at Gregory as the sand is soft at this time more info on whats happening will be available tommorrow.
