Kalbarri Classic
Anybody else heading up to Kalbarri for the Kalbarri Classic on the March long weekend?
Dad and I are having a crack at the gamefishing section for the first time, should be a bit of fun. Light tackle mono will be a change from the braid I've gotten used to using. Hopefully the noahs arks aren't too bad.
Just knocked out some custom leadheads to throw into the baitballs that are hopefully up there, specifically chasing yellowfin tuna. Looking forward to see how they go.

Kalbarri flood water
Lance I couldn't open your reply from the other day. how is the fishing being effected by the floods. the monitoring station up river is still rising.

River is running ATM
Bringing some muddy water down, which is actually good for fishing. Not enough water running to affect navigation safety, apart from the obvious that you won't see shallow water.

go to department of transport web site, coast cams, select kalbarri camera and you can get a minute by minute view of the rivermouth from the sea rescue building
