These are 1kg cryovac packs and generally there's 4 or 5 fish per 1kg

We have just received an exciting new delivery of Ocea Pencil popper/stickbaits. These are elite surface and sub surface lures which have been super effective with the Metro Pelagics ie Spanish Mackeral, Tuna, King Fish and even Tailor recently! With Salmon already starting to fire along the metro coast and inshore reefs these lures are deadly and are made to take the serious battering’s these big fish dish out.

These dynamic lures weigh 42gm and come armed with a pair of Owner ST66 #1 hooks and have an S-shaped diving action on the retrieve, making land based as well boat based casting super effective.

Here at Oceanside we don’t just love catching fish we love cooking it and one of our favourite techniques is Smoking. An old school method of cooking to enhance flavours and help preserve Fish, Red Meat and Poultry for long periods of time. We grew up smoking herring and Spanish Mackerel as kids and it is simply a fantastic way to make your prized catch last longer.

We stock both small and large portable Smokers as well as a fully collapsible smoker which is perfect for compact camping and fishing trips away with the family.

We also have a large range of Smoking Dust as well as Shavings/Chips in many different wood types to add unique Smokey flavours into all different meats. All our smoking woods are 100% Australian and come in various sizes for different occasions.

Customers have been enjoying getting into the shallow water snapper with early morning (sunrise onwards) and late arvo (into darkness) being the better times.

The offshore reefs around Garden, Carnac, Mewstomes and Stragglers being some of the better areas. If you plan to target pink snapper then taking good berley is the key and especially if the bite is slow.

We currently stock the Shredded Mulies but due to customer request's we are now stocking the new 1.5kg Mulie Shredded Block also.
