I use wire when i target sharks
. It just happened to take a liking to my lure! I let it keep the lure in the end, i wasn't putting my hands near its mouth!

great catch from the yak,
great catch from the yak, letting him keep the lure is better than him keeping a couple of your fingers.
it would be a hard task getting the lure back even if you wanted to from the yak , limited deck space lol
