hi all, i was wondering if anyone new where would be the best place or website to get some kayak carriers/supports to put on my roof rack to hold my kayak in place. im over having to use a rope to tie it which takes forever and isnt quite 100% safe as i am not a scout that knows a million different knots. bcf etc has them for 185 dollars but for what they are.... THAT IS A RIP OFF! any help would be really appreciated!

Instead of knots, you can get straps which are a lot quicker. I used some red ones from bunnings that were pretty strong when i had to do it once for a rental kayak. They had a big thick soft foam block to put under the kayak to protect the roof and stop it moving.

Tie downs
Have a look at the ratchet tie down straps, they come in many sizes and do the trick easily while you're in Bunnings
