KGW Seasonal?

Hey guys, anybody know if KGW are seasonal? I have a nice local spot at Point Peron in 2m of water that never fails to produce a feed (no horses, but usually a quick and easy half dozen 30-35cm) over summer. I've fished the same spot several times over winter, and had no luck at all.
Just got me to wondering if they had a seasonal migration or something, looking at the photos of 50cm KG on here lately I wouldn't mind knowing where they go!

I've found the shallow KG's move to deeper water in winter for spawning.......always variables!
As for when the bans on.........hell yeh offshore KG time =)
