nah looks like schools of cuttlefish , sorry mate.( kidding)

or I have heard of mass dumpings of dockers and eagles gear

from the pre-emptive suppliers haha.

Sounders , like all of you I have seen great flares , patchs , blobs of everything, sometimes its fish, most times its bait, small schools of fish

or even weed , sponges etc, how do I know?

Lets just say that buy looking at a video of the bottom and comparing that to the sounder  nothing is what it seems.

Only way to know , is to drop on it, on different days , tides or conditions.

I think it depends on how

I think it depends on how you've set the sounder up. There's definately structure (pic 1 ) so I'd be dropping on it for sure.

Gday lamby ,got these setting of one of your dunsborough mates ,and still trying to distinguish different kinds of fish on the sounder, yeh I would also assume we fishing the same sort of area. Got out there on Saturday but the conditions turned to stink and made it difficult to fish unfortunately

Harro has it dialled mate if it was him then you have it set sweet, I hope you can get to the spot in the 3rd pic when the conditions allow & they haven't moved on! One drop & you would be heading back home

settings

Mon, 2012-09-17 17:17

are all therse shots with the same settings?? as to me it looks like screen shot 1 ther gain is too high! but if it is the same settings then its a good school of fish on what looks like some good ground! the only shot that doesnt impress me that much is shot 3 to me that just looks like bait! everyone will have a different opinion

I agree with most comments

Mon, 2012-09-17 17:34

But agree with lamby. I like the look of the total picture off 3. Looks like bait, but the terrain looks the part, and where there is bait, their is always going to be something after them. I'd give all off them a run Patto 1.

looks like y lumps or c lumps maybe, lots of soft coral, the soundings look a little to vertical and uniform and could be doubling up maybe, a little tweaking maybe buddy, agree with snapper on the 3rd shot, looks like little shit here n there,

ill come out one day bud and help ya out, if you like

still looks like good country,
