Kwinana Beach?

G'day everyone..
Yesterday morning decided to get out and wet a line at one of the small groynes at Kwinana Beach.. Normally have a bit of fun there with herring, gardies and a few tailor.. Anyway fishing was very slow with bugger all fish around.. Then there was a massive boil-up with fish around the 1-2kg mark smashing into schools of small gardies.. Didn't manage to get into any because I was stuffing around with some squid jigs and by the time i re-rigged there were long gone!!!
I couldn't tell exactly what they were but thought they could be bonito or tailor?? They were really fast darting through the gardies..
Anyone out there got any ideas of what they were?? Or has anyone experienced anything similar lately?

It was hard to tell the colour.. I only thought it could be bonito because of the speed they were darting around at.. I guess im just going to have to get down there again and try and catch a couple!!!
