Land based- north or south

G'day lads
been doing some thinking lately and with my 21st bday coming up early next year I'm thinking about doing a big land based trip! I've done some research and I'm looking at either up north to steeps quobba or dirk hartog or south to the ledges in Albany combined with salmon at cheynes like I did this year.
I would like to hear you experiences and opinions on this as I've been reading some epic reports from here and to be honest I'm really confused as to which will be the best.
Preferably I'd like to do the trip either jan/feb before Uni or June/July during mid semesters. 4x4 will be available.
Cheers for any input lads looking forward to replies!

Quobba
1 x vote for Quobba but never done the Steep or Hartog adventure, mid year should be ok but with all things fishing its hit and miss...nothing like Cobia, Spaniards, broadbars, spangos, emperor, Tailor, tuna off the stones and with a chance for anything really.
Watch the swells and no fish is worth it ever! Cuvier is land based hardcore heaven imo.

North
Yer Quobba, Steep point, Wagoe, Warra station with your mates, beers and fishing rods all would be a good place
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.
