landbased whiting

hey guys going down to canning bridge but if the bream arent on thinking of going for some whiting but is there any landbased options near freo as i have never went landbased whiting cheers

if ya can get to trigg or city beach there are hundreds and are easy picking to good on the light gear

the only trouble is a lot of them are quite small

hey i just got back from the canning bridge. 3 undersize blackies and a small grunter. its great weather there but the water is a tad too murky for my likings

i normally just use the patanoska rig with some freash squid.
i tend to burly but depending on spot and conditions but some times there is no need.
great fun on the light gear
