last mintue dash

deciced at the last minute today that i was going to head out. It was 10:30am and i had the boat packed and was on my way. I hit the water at 11 and headed out, it was beautiful. 30knts the whole way out. I really just wanted to jig up a heap of ambers and have a bit of fun with them, nothing to serious. I got to the spot and there was fish all over the sounder, Great. First drop came up a nice amber, pretty happy with myself. I kept fishing the ground for the next couple of hours and up came heaps of ambers, i also got into some HUGE skippy with some pushing 5-6kg, it was great because i have never encounted them at that size before. There was another boat fishing the same ground as me, he was dropping bait the whole time and got nothing, i was using jigs and cleaned up. Heres some pics, they are a kinda bad but i did go by myself

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.
