Last trip out in coral bay

Well that's another holiday over . Got out there nice and early with a bit of a chill in the air at 17 degrees. Bugger all wind the whole 20nm but the fishing was a bit hard with no drift and the current running gv , 32 oz wouldn't even hold bottom but we still managed a few nice fish . Came back into the 70s a bit after noon and got 1 spanglie and 2 damn cobia then the sharks moved in . That was then end of fishing for us . Sandy got a pb 13 kg cobia (equaled my pb)
All up had a great trip away spending quality time with Sandy and mum and got some nice fillets to take home.

Had cobia before pan fried
Had cobia before pan fried with a bit of lemon pepper seasoning on it . Didn't think it was too bad. Have been told it is great for smoking so going to give that a crack. Got a few kg to experiment with

Yeah it was a great couple
Yeah it was a great couple of weeks. Plenty of good fish and a few pb and firsts for all 3 of us.Drove out of coral bay in the rain and arrived back in hedland to more rain. Getting worse.
