Ledge Point

Hey Folks

I'm new to the site and thought i'd see if i could find out what the fishing is like from both beach and tinny at ledge point

thinking of taking the family camping after the easter maddness spending 3 to 4 days.

Demersals from a tinny? Its a 3.6m stacer with a 15 johnson on it. Tiny tinny i know.

Any thoughts guys are appreciated. also is it possible to dive from the beach for crays around that area?

A real novice, any info would be grouse.

but we have caught bulk big dhu's from a dingy in 9m of water off dide bay at lancelin which is not far away (15/20 km) just be careful beach launching and you can get good demersals less than 1km from shore up that way!  cheers

I am heading up to Ledge on the weekend after easter for 4 days staying at the caravan park. First time. Beach only. Hoping to catch some fish with the kids. Anyone have any suggestions on North or south on the beach?

Fish the beach to the right

Fish the beach to the right of the carpark. Mate of mine fishes there a lot. Arvo's good for tailor. Beach is usually good for launch if you have a 4wd. excellent diving there but be careful of boats and use a flag. Good areas in close for a small tinny as it's relatively sheltered inside the reef. I will be at Seabird hopefully out wide good Friday.
