Burley up off the jetty early avro and you will get bulk herring on the boil till dark. I didnt get a chance to fish the beaches but yeah, at least thats something :) We used simple single hooks with prawns as bait.

 Cheers mate,

Was told by a friend yesterday to use the herring to try for tailor and mulloway. We see how we go. probably will go to the jetty first before venturing up and down the beaches.

Plenty of good

fishing beaches, either north or south of Leeman, we were up there 3 weeks ago and the beaches were clear of weed.  Heading north on the Indean Ocean Drive, you'll see a sign heading right to Enebba and left on a limestone road, keep going and you'll find another crayfishermans jetty have fished from there and lost quite a lot of good bait, something big down there, taking bait, either a good fish or blowies and beach to the north if you have a 4x4.  4x4 to go to flat rock which is the road to the right of the 4 motel type units at the caravan park, turn right you'll see the ocean, next left (dirt) and keep going, good for taylor and sharks on sunrise or sunset.  That is if the southerlies aren't blowing.  The roadhouse on Indian Ocean drive has been giving good tips while in town from other fellow FW'rs that have gone up.  Next door to it is a great fish and chip shop that does sell genuine dhuie, snapper etc bit dear but worth the extra bucks for a good feed of snapper or dhuie.

Cheers mate, very helpful. We will endeavour to catch that big bugger taking the bait.
