Life (well death really) Insurance

Who has it and who do people recommend as a good insurer to deal with?
I'm currently going through and updating my will etc and think I should probably have some kind of life insurance to supplement the one they "give you" with your superannuation. I'd be keen to hear people's thoughts.

Only advice I will give is
Get multiple quotes from different insurers or use a broker.
Try your bank (who will no doubt have their own insurance panel) or even better ring David Beavis "Lifesure" (yes its the same guy who takes those magnificent Fishing Dreamscapes pics in the Reeltime mag). He is also a life insurance broker by trade. Mention you are from Fishwrecked and he will look after you I'm sure.

I would have, but you made a simple grammatical error (schoolkid is not one word) thereby eliminating you from my will.
I feel for you champ, I really do........

I just seem to have everything through Westpac, mortgage, bank accounts, vehicle and home and contents insurance and life insurance for me and the cook. Probably more for convenience than anything else.

Just be careful Huggy
Most of not all insurance companies will have a "terrorist" exclusion clause in their policies. (hehehe)
