Living the Pilbara dream- Help which boat?.

Hi, I'll cut straight to it .

Been working in the pilbara for nearly a year now, been out a couple of times with the boys from work. Now got the bug for fishing.

The question is What type of boat do i need to get out to the islands and find some decent fishing spots to catch some Emperors and Coral Trout ?.

Im thinking I want a Stacer Nomad Fisher or 509 Baymaster Mainly stacer any thoughts?.

Cheers....

5.5m gives you the best of both worlds, gets you up the creeks and also out into the blue. keep the fuel tank size in the back of your mind, it can be a long way to certian spots etc. Karratha? Hedland? Elsewhere?

Mines 5.8m. Check out the trips I have done. Week long trips in the Kimberley to Barra bashing in  the creeks. Centre console helps in  the creeks. Thinking of upgrading to something bigger for extended trips . I could be swayed to part with it.......maybe:)

ok I'll join the chase also! Nothing to spend here and you can spin down to Coral bay and have a look. I work up your way also and could tow it up there.

Classic!! I dont have one yet, but with all the shipping movements up here plus 50 ships at anchor its getting hard to nght fish. If it gets any busier radar with a perimeter guard will make sense.
