Just caught 2 Long Toms, got bit off by the third, have just re rigged and going back for more action,,,,,and think, im being paid for this! more news to come - i hope!

Got hooked up on a beauty, as much areal action as a marlin or sailfish, man these things are big!
In the info I can find on them they say they grow to 1 metre, these are easily alot bigger than that, maybe 150cm id suggest and great fun to catch on light gear!
Needlefish info shows them growing bigger than a metre, maybe thats what they are, (i never thought there was a difference)
using a 40 gram halco slice, they love em... now time to go and do some real work

no camera, and too much of a hassle to get one, need a bloody hot work permit, intrinsically safe etc etc, they have nasty teeth, i know what it is

says here they grow to 140cm, thats sounds more like it, but theres a few big boys that swim through that would blast that theory out of the water too i reckon.
