Looking for a cheap sounder
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Wed, 2010-01-27 11:54
Hi Crew,
Just wondering if anyone can give some advice on cheap sounders, between 200 and $500, prefer colour but realise we prob won't get it for that price. Also looking at second hand ones so will be keeping the eye's open. Has anyone purchased one recently between that price range that they are happy with, would also be great if you had a photo of it in action so I can show the boss as its for our work boat.
Cheers,
Adam

I got a northstar 4380 from whitworths for $399, has colour screen although it is a bit small.
Definately not the best sounder out there but is worth checking out.

If thats your budget
look at the Garmin 400C.
Personally I would steer clear of the neglected step child (northstar).
