Low lifes attack man , point perron.

Most would have seen this on news , net etc , but will be watching this one.

Was he fishing? it was late , so not much going on there , so he could have been.

3 scum arrested, not there first I would imagine, ice heads ?, or wallet snatchers?

Even my teenage girls said , gee dad you will have to watch it if you out late, Perths not

the place it was, crime out of control? or do we just hear about it more, last few days have been mad, dudes getting run over in

there driveways etc.

We are moving to a new place soon , and security screens are first on the list.

thoughts?

Many sides to a story

Sun, 2016-02-28 20:31

The other night i was about to knock some old prick out on the rocko yacht club jetty. Now I wont go into detail but he was threatening and abusing the other fisho families on the jetty. Looks at me (bald and 90kgs) and says fuk all! Gets past me and starts screaming and yelling sh1t at people. So I intervened. Now if I knocked this piece of sh1t out the news would of read," defenceless elderly gets attacked for no reason".

The old saying, Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

Hope the victim of this crime is ok.

Sun, 2016-02-28 20:57

Yep , thats why I said be watching this one for more info , just for that very reason, but my point

in general was , Perth for fishos, walkers etc , used be a pretty safe place in the evening and after dark , we could go park or fish

till late with very few hassles , now it has to be a consideration, and Im bald and 105kg,s and 6 foot .

but 3 against 1 still leaves us second best .

I know this person personally and i can say that he was just down there fishing and that he we don't know why he was attacked but i can assure you that this would've in no way have been  provoked he is litterally one of the nicest and friendly guys i know.

You have to ask the question as to why three guys are walking around in the Pt Peron carpark with a baseball bat?

 Drug addiction/use at an all

Sun, 2016-02-28 20:35

Drug addiction/use at an all time high, drugs are easier than ever to access, so crime increases so that the scum can feed their habbit then loose sight of whats rite or wrong and eventually turn to beating people with bats for fun. Personally i say the government needs to start spending more money on stoping the drugs, use and sale, its only gonna keep getting worse.

If these blokes are not citizens and are guilty then I would have to agree...piss them off to where they came from !!

Australia really needs to toughen the F#*K up and start to establish a NO TOLERANCE policy ....either by punishing criminals promptly and efficiently if they break the law and lean towards protecting the victims rather than being concerned for the welfare of the guilty !!

It should be bloody simple ....break the law .....you pay !! No questions !!

We ALL know what is wrong and right so why is it so hard to clamp down on these fu&*wits ??

who is not an Australian citizen and has been done for assault while here on a visa ??

I don't care where you are from or who you choose to hang oround with ....BUT ....if you are convicted of a crime and guilty then... too bloody bad ....no sympathy , no questions ....be sent back if not a citizen and punished accordingly here if you are lucky enough to be a citizen !!

I just think the justice system is milking funds from tax payers by not doing their job efficiently enough by being way to lenient on criminals.

There is way to much concern for maybe offending someones "feelings" or "beliefs" than giving these prics what they deserve

A very nice guy

Sun, 2016-02-28 22:04

The victim of the bashing is our chemist, you could not meet a nicer guy who goes out of his way to help people who need help with a medical problem that needs medication and haven't got the means to pay for it right now.

As has been said above who takes a base ball bat out with them unless you are planning to do some hurt to some one.

My point of view on this huge problem is it's no good putting the human excrement in jail, from what you read in the paper they can still get the drugs of choice whilst they are doing time.

Solution, build a max security jail way out on the edge of the desert using sea containers to keep costs down, no family visits. Main entrance 100 yds out from facility police and dog squad stationed on gate permanently only people to go past gate are wardens and doctors who are all searched before going beyond gate.
All food is to be grown on site as well as all services to be done on site by inmates.

Nothing will ever get done to

Mon, 2016-02-29 00:34

Nothing will ever get done to stop this shit because the taxpayers will not cough up more dollars to sort these pricks out. We get taxed every which way possible now and have had enough. Cut government spending make public servants work then we can lay off 2/thirds of them for the same result and have lots of taxpayers funds left over to tackle these issues

Two blood brothers and one

Mon, 2016-02-29 07:27

Two blood brothers and one step brother going for a drive at midnight with a baseball bat.

My folks used to rent the last house on Point Peron Road, south western side, opposite to the school camp for 30 + years until it became too unsafe (the local folk, not the erosion).

Constant brake ins, home invasions. Couldn't leave anything outside. Malicious damage.. This was 15-20 years ago

People would physically smash through the asbestos walls to get into the house....hopefully Karma will do its thing one day.

Will be following this story. have been in similar shoes myself. (my situation was no where near as serious and more....funny) but as little Johnny says. the police definitely are doing their jobs. Offenders picked up quickly. they also do a great job of making an airtight case. and of course time after time the court system fumbles the ball !

wouldn't surprise me if these guys get off with nothing but a "just don't do it again" from the magistrate. (but will be very happy to be proved wrong :)

Yeah, but how long will it be

Thu, 2016-03-03 22:38

Yeah, but how long will it be before it goes to court? Sorry but this sort of thing is all too common.

Seriously, I witnessed a violent assult nearly 2 years ago and I've been summons to court now as a witness on 3 occasions only to have it put off for various reasons.

Got a knock on the door last Sunday by the Police and issued a summons to appear in court again in the next few weeks, nothing I can do about it.

In the mean time, I've stood up and done the right thing, but it effects me through time off work, through worrying about the repercussions of the accused coming back to me or my family etc etc. (The person in question is still walking around free)

I believe you need to stand up and put thugs away where they belong but our criminal justice system makes many a person turn a blind eye to a crime, and in all honesty, I can understand why. Quite simply our justice system is failing the innocent.

So what is the solution?... for me we need to make crime a major state election issue because quite frankly it is out of control!!!!!

Andy, I know what you're saying, and I know you've recently experienced it. Are you on top of it now? Think I saw somewhere the insurance came through for you.

Recently down here in Bunbury, a friend of mine who manages storage units told me someone was breaking into the units and then replacing the locks with their own locks. When the Police found the culprit, they had 2 or 3 units in a false name completely chockers with stolen goods.

agree with you blue tonic , have had the same experience as a summoned witness

one thing that always bothers me is why we as a population are happy to see the book and big fines /confiscations etc for fishing offences , but fines /convictions for drink driving , drugs , assaults etc are still so low in comparison ?

law and order , corporal punishment , and even capitol punishment should all be under review by our political parties , society and gov

the social engineering that has been going on now since the 70-80s needs to be altered before we all become so p/c we just sit at home , inside our guarded compounds & remember how people used to live
our kids and culture needs to be reminded of our responsibilitys , not their bloody rights so much imo

Agreed that the perception of

Fri, 2016-03-04 08:38

Agreed that the perception of fishers is skewed towards large penalties for fishing related offences and have stated this in the past......until a violent crime touches home.

Penalties for ....well most crimes....are just not a deterrent to the general criminal in comparison to what can potentially be gained. IE I'm sure even the general criminal subconsciously goes through the "risk vs reward" thought process. (the one's not blitzed anyway)

reward: Potentially make thousands of dollars from theft/crime.
Risk: worst case caught, go to court, "don't do it again" or fined (which does not have to be paid)

More than happy for my tax dollars to be spent LOCKING CRIMINALS UP.

Legalise Cannabis

Sat, 2016-03-05 17:26

Ever since mankind (Humans) have  been on Earth we have used many types of "drugs" to alter our moods, emotions, ETC. Most commenly would be caffeine and then alcohol (at a guess) in modern times.

Alcohol is a very very dangerous drug, yet freely available and can be highly addictive.

Cannabis is outlawed as a drug that will see you end up in a mental state of mind, which has been proven over and over again that it does not.

For those wanting a "buzz" let Cannabis be available, they would rather give you a hug after a joint rather then caving your head in with a baseball bat.

Last thing: It's the best medicine we know of for many diseases andproblems including cancer, epilepsy, crohnes.....etc.

Sat, 2016-03-05 20:05

Yeah there has been a lot of good research into

using caniboids in pain relief for sufferers on a lot

of illnesses and that s great !! But saying it's

harmless is far from it especially long term

users starting at a young age !! Then later in

life end up with anxiety issues depression and

one of the major causes of schizophrenia in

a lot of users !! So not harmful I disagree !!

But everyone's different and some long term

can get away with it !! Others not so lucky !!

I met a bloke who had one joint in his early

20s and has been on meds for paranoia since

now nearly 40 !! It sometimes doesn't agree with some

people !! Cheers fellas pirate !!

Yeah I have to agree pirate.

Yeah I have to agree pirate. I know a couple of fellas who've spent their entire adult lives smoking weed and they have lost the plot. Paranoid about anything and everything, can't hold a decent conversation about anything other than smoking bongs. For medicinal reasons, I have nothing against it. For occasional use, thats fine. To spend their entire life dedicated to getting high and trying to tell me how harmless it is, well f%*k that. I'm no angel, I spent a few years smoking weed, I also didn't go anywhere with my life in those years either

I never said it was harmless

Mon, 2016-03-07 21:09

But it is compared to legalized drugs today, bet I can prove you wrong with all the scientific studies being/have been  done. I find that story about the bloke you met that had 1 joint 20yrs ago and has been on meds for paranoia to be complete bullshit...right? It's people like you talking out your ass that makes it hard to solve these problems.

 Drug illegality = extremely

Sun, 2016-03-06 10:32

Drug illegality = extremely lucrative cash business . Unless the shit ( Meth ) is taken off the streets society ain’t ever going win this battle .. and the only way to do that is by treating existing addiction as a medical condition and dispensing clean drugs to registered patients . No customers = No business for the big fish and with no black money incentive the end result down the line is seeing less people/kids being pushed onto the gear and we might start making a dent in drug related crime and save ever increasing families the heartache of seeing their once beloved child turn into a piece of shit.

while I generally agree. programmes like this take decades and a hell of a lot of cash input to show results.

to be the devils advocate here: in the short term one major problem is a shortage of professional health care workers to cope with what would be a huge influx of "candidates" after their free fix. all having to be assesses by qualified ppl, managed by doctors and pharmacists under a gvt duty of care.

So either this is a very long term fix and should be implemented as such or we are going to see a huge strain on an already stressed health system. (these professionals have to come from somewhere)

Wouldn't be keen in the short term to be standing behind a meth head waiting for them to be taken care of before I get my chemotherapy.

Because it cuts out the crimminal element Peter. The dealers won't have a market, meth heads won't need to steal our hard earned etc etc. We can just keep going as we are and bang our heads against a wall everytime a granny gets bashed for her handbag or whatever else. They will still get charged if they commit criminal acts though.

 A measly 1% of the $8

Fri, 2016-03-11 08:20

A measly 1% of the $8 billion tobacco excise plus the gst on top of that the govt ( drug cartel ) pocketed last year would be ample that’s about $80 million .. though as we know in the hands of the pollies we’ll blow half of that lining the pockets of bureaucrats doing feasibility studies and pigrooting around for 10yrs .

I reckon half a dozen fishos over a carton piss could bypass the bullshit and get it happening

Vaping implements aren’t illegal in other states to distribute just WA ,  however you can legally buy meth pipes and generic thc product over the counter here in WA .. Vape juice can be imported with nicotine in it , I get mine from the good ole US of A but it can’t be sold here . Until they can bulltish a way to regulate and tax it to make up the shortfall of tobacco excise as people start quitting durries it won’t happen ..

Thu, 2016-03-10 09:10

Really all police want "sit down" jobs ......or in other words promoted off the streets when they have reached 35ish (after they have spent somewhere in the relm of 15 years on the pavement)

I've been around a while Peter and have generally found that the population in Aust that is against the police is ofcourse generally on the wrong side of the law.

Not a "pot head"

Fri, 2016-03-11 11:11

I could pass any drug test you have ....today. I've been keeping a close eye on what the USA is doing to help with this problem we have, the results coming out of Colorado are looking very good, same with Washington. It would seem that most Humans "need" something to alter their perspective at times, most use Alcohol...nasty stuff when you look at the statistics, Cannabis has never killed anyone directly. My point is ...if someone needs to get an altered state of mind then let the most harmless substance be available, its not as dangerous as you might have been told, I am researching this for Medicinal use to try and save my life

Thu, 2016-03-10 16:48

In the drug debate, I reckon weed is fine if used in 'moderation' (thats open to intepretation!).

Im on the fence with two balls hanging over the side to legalize weed.

The dudes that did this shit need to be hurt. I take my kids to that area.

Thu, 2016-03-10 21:09

lazy coppers it's funny my sister in law gets bashed while I wasn't around ring police nothink nothink I go round there ring the hero police  again nothink, just another meth related incident, while she's still been held against her will I let myself in and next call was an ambulance not for me I might add but her and that meth head arsehole and blow me down the cops are there in 5 minutes after the misses and I called them 6 times over 3 hours and they have the nerve to tell me I was in the wrong when she could have been dead, F off!!!

Pete mac I've always agreed with you as unpopular as that may make me as hezzy says "evil flourishes when good men do nothink"

But how many good men have the balls to stand up

Also saying most people that don't back the cops are on the wrong side of the law what a load of crap we just didn't grow up with a halo and kneepads to bow to them and seen what arseholes they can be if they don't like you and i new from day one right from wrong it was flogged into me

To many coppers that got picked on at school out to fine everyone for doing 6km over with the chip on there shoulder but when it comes to hands on run a mile

I don't care what you do behind closed doors but when I affects me friends family, time to take it in your own hands if capable

This problem if you think it's bad now just wait it's getting worse

something that most people

Fri, 2016-03-11 12:23

something that most people are not aware of in the cop debate is how really undermanned and under resourced they actually are & what a toll that takes on them trying to do the righty by the community

for places like bunbury , there might be only 8 coppers on shift on a sat night , maybe 10, and one or two of them will be at the station to man radio etc
so for an area of over 150 000 people thats all you have got to deal with everything that calls come in for

traffic accidents, break ins , stolen cars , assaults at pubs, taxi ranks , backyard partys , drink drivers, peeping toms , meth heads , domestic violence , hospital a& e emergency calls for violent patients ,illegal motor bike riders , suspicious persons on premsises , drunks , warrant notices, lost and found ,speeders , unlicenced drivers, /cars , sudden deaths ...... you name it they have to cover it and decide what is the biggest priority to attend etc

so yeh your phone call may not at any one time be the top of the list ,
i have known police officers to tell a caller who rang about an intruder on her property to just turn on all your outside lights and a van will be there soon , knowing full well that sitn going to happen because they cant stretch any thinnner that night ?

whats the alternative ?? tell callers they cant attend as they dont have the manpower ??
kill your job prospects , get into trouble from above etc and alert the crims to cut sick ??

most of them ime genuinly do their best ,but over time the system they work in day by day , takes its toll , superiors , lawyers, courts , offenders ,public aggro etc, getting someone to court is no easy feat , and often their let go or dealt with softly

so their efforts are often in vein , only to have the same interaction with the person who has just been let off or let go by courts

while their doing this , they can be hit , kicked , jabbed with needles , get involved in fights, often when their back is turned , car chases at high speed , every shift is an unknown risk ,

i for one would never be a copper and i would never encourage any one i know to do so either
it has to one of the most thankless tasks their is & yes they sign up for it , but i dont think most at the cadet stage understsnd what it entails

imagine going to someones house on xmas day to tell them their husband has just been killed in a car accident ,having to deal with that persons family as well their dead and damaged body , tagg them out in a morg , take all their personal belongings off them .then 2 days later your back at work & you had to stop a bloke and give him a fine for speeding 20km over the limit , he unloads his attitude on you about the ticket ?? &then wonders why the copper comes back hard at him about it ??

for mine , i think respect to the authority of the law is another area that has been lost in recent decades

yeh their are bad apples peeps can throw up as examples , but by and large they need our public support cause there out there working on our behalf ,
we all want a copper some time to help us , we just love to hate them when they tell us we need to conform to our societys rules by slowing down or drink less etc

thats my take on it from close quarters , feel free to shoot away lol

Well said Hezzy, it shits me

Fri, 2016-03-11 12:27

Well said Hezzy, it shits me a lot when the cops get bagged. They are seriously undermanned through no fault of their own. Blame the gov as they are the one's managing the organisation. And yep the shit they have to put up with on a daily basis is horrendous. Think the 12 fatallities on the weekend, who do you think has that unenvious task of informing loved one's their son, daughter, mother or father has been killed. Further more they are the people who have to attend the carnage in the first place. I personally know quite a few coppers and they are great blokes, there are a couple on the site and I'm sure they don't appreciate the negative crap some people spill from their keyboards without thinkink about it first. And if anyone wants to shoot me down for my views on this  go for it.
