Lowrance HDS 9 Gen 3 Help

So ive just brought a brand new lowrance hds 9 gen 3 and its been fitted.
i have no idea about this kind of stuff but my mate said i need to buy 2 sd cards.
does anyone know what 2 sd cards i need and where i can buy them from?

You have two media ports on
You have two media ports on the HDS gen 111 they use the micro SD cards.
If you are using the unit as a combo unit, then one slot will have your Navionics or chart card of your preference on it and the second Micro SD slot can be left empty if you do not wish to use it.
Alternatively you can get a second blank card (32gig max) from any stationary / computer store and put it in the second slot and use it for recording trips and uploadiing to insight genesis to create your own bathymetry charts of locations you like to fish or think are worthy of more in depth investigation.
The second slot and blank card can also be used for storing, backing up and transferring waypoints, screen shots, trips and trails or any other info you want to save to look at later.
