Lowrance Sonic Hub``
Submitted by cutter on Sat, 2014-02-22 19:10
Just installed a Lowrance HDS touch 9 and Sonic hub, we have checked and double checked all connections, fuses read manuals everything.
We cannot get the sonic hub to wake up or power up when turning on the HDS 9.
Has anyone else had a problem like this ???
Cheers

If it is all wired up
If it is all wired up correctly through the nmea and still having troubles, try upload the current software on the head unit and the sonic is what I had to do to get it running

Power
You have to power it direct to your battery, I installed mine and just tee-d into a power wire for some lights and it didn't work. I rechecked everything and then spoke to a guy over east who had done the same thing previously- as soon as I ran cable direct to battery (fused of course) it worked immediately.
