Lucky Bay Kalbarri

Hi everyone, im going to lucky bay with a mate camping on the beach mid september. I'm just wondering will the big tailor be around at this time? Also whats our best bet of catching one? We have kayaks but are more than happy to fish off the beach. We also have lures and bait so we can fish any way that we want.
Also is there any other species to look out for?

Plenty of big parrot fish
Plenty of big parrot fish and trout on the inside and outside of the reef to get on the straight hook

Lucky Bay
Really nice spot.
great for swimming and fishing /yaking.
We launched the tinny off the beach and spent a lot of time dragging the kids on their boards.
There is deep water straight off the beach, it drops to about 12 to 15 ft ...4m/5m almost vertical so be aware of that.
We also had to snatch a guy who tried to drive the edge of the beach going in instead of going around the back of the dunes and over the top.
That took us three snatch straps and a Sunday times, to get him out...
enjoy.. ps they do get big sharks in the bay at times.. but they're everywhere and seasonal. (tigers)

Im heading up on the 18th to
Im heading up on the 18th to the 28th of September. First time fishing there for me. Going to try a bit of ballooning from wagoe if the winds permit. Cant help you with any tips mate but may see you there if your still around! Good luck!
