M260 Wetbox transducer in Cruise Craft with liner?

Hey folks, I'm looking at an M260 transducer for my 625 Cruise Craft. The boat has a liner, just wandering if anyone here has fitted one of these transducers, specifically any pics of where you cut away the liner.

What year is your 685? They started foam filling the hulls in 2005 meaning there was then an outer hull, foam and then an inner liner on top. At the transom I've got two bung holes, one directly above the other. Bottom one drains the hull cavity.

Mine had an area set aside for a wetbox. I spoke with CC about this and they said that was specifically why it was put there. Ive only had it out to 100m or so and works fine. No problems at 40 knots on a calm day and 20-25knots on a normal day works a treat (no aeration).
The old owner stuck a P66 direct to the floor. I cant attach a photo here, so I'll just start a new forum topic.
