Unfortunatley consumers are
Unfortunatley consumers are constantly driving prices down, in turn suppliers look for cheaper alternatives hence
why they go to China for manufacturing. Im working in air conditioning and I can tell you I have customers that
are asking me to discount to prices that leave sweet F all margin, we dont do it but plenty of guys are happy just
to work on low margins to keep the dollars ticking over, especially when we get a cools summer.

shame
A real shame as the multi roller one I had under my old fibreglass boat was the best trailer I have ever had

Shit, mine is a road master
Shit, mine is a road master and was going to be rebuilding and using them for parts... looks like it’ll all have to be custom now. As has been said already, sucks to see another local manufacturer go.

Quality or something less?
I can see both side , esp with trailers , not only boat ones.
On one hand for alot of people they are looking for a trailer of some sorts and there looking for the bottom line.
If they can get one for 800 bucks verses 1200 for a aussie one , even if its half the quality , there buying it, and for some they are happy.
But also I have made a couple of flat top trailers and a couple of special quad bike ones for myself and friends, and people have suggested I maybe make
a couple more and sell them for a profit , but if I add quality materials , thoughtful but time wasting features and add all my work time at a decent rate , I would
never sell them , even though they would top class trailers.
